The Ecophilic Scientific and Research Team had the privilege of being among just six civil society organizations/NGOs selected to participate in a capacity-strengthening workshop (15–19 September 2025) focused on biodiversity conservation in Nigeria.
This initiative, led by the West Africa Civil Society Institute (WACSI), brought together changemakers committed to safeguarding our ecosystems and reshaping the future of conservation in the region.
Armed with fresh insights, innovative strategies, and strengthened networks, our team is now even better equipped to champion inland biodiversity conservation in Nigeria with a view to protecting riparian forests, freshwater systems, and the communities that depend on them.
We look forward to translating this knowledge into impactful projects and to forging partnerships with national and international stakeholders who share our vision of a greener, more resilient planet. 🌱✨
🤝 We welcome collaboration and support from donors, institutions, and individuals who believe in the power of conservation to transform lives and landscapes.
