The discovery of two endangered damselflies in the Obudu Mountains informed the decision to explore the sites for more rare and threatened species and, more importantly, to carry out conservation educational campaigns among the local communities in the mountains. Additionally, we intend to identify the distribution range of these threatened damselfly species and carry out an intensive survey for the critically endangered Pentaphlebia gamblesi, which was last seen at the site in 1973.
